New Puppy by Randy

After our dog, Mocha, died early last year, we put off getting another one for obvious reasons.

But we just couldn't wait any longer so we drove up to Amish country in Montgomery, Indiana yesterday and bought a nine-week old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Doogie the cat isn't so sure about him, but we're pretty much in love. We haven't named him yet, but we're trying to think of something regal.

Too cute! Suggestions: Leopold, Baron, Cornelius, Winston.

Hope you are feeling well.

I just love dogs. I must have missed the blog about Mocha's passing. Pets ar just like family. If your cat is named Doogie, how bout naming your new baby Howser? I had 2 dogs once and named them Skippy and Daphne after the "Fun Girls" on the old Andy Griffith show. Pets will make you feel better, anytime.

Someone tell my mother that she cannot name her dog the name that I want for my future son. I need support here. Love you Mommy! I can't wait to meet WINSTON!!!

Ann,
I have to go with Meredith ... WINSTON! So glad you have a puppy to love on. I'm sure he is going to get much attention from the Moore family! Enjoy Winston.

How about Charlemagne? Charles the Great. Sounds very regal and very fitting.

He looks like a Winston to me also. What a sweet medicine he will be for Ann and the entire Moore family. Amazingly, "fuzzies" are not human, yet they bring out our humanity....Each day they teach us little lessons in trust and steadfast affection. They are truely God-sent. Enjoy!

Auntie Ann, Me an Peg think you should name him Bertie, after Bertie Wooster. But guess what happened; mommy took Peg to a groomer in North Carolina and now mommy said she looks like the lady threw her in a gunny sack full of wool eating moths and mommy will only let her go on walks under cover of darkness because of her self of steam. Also mommy says that the hooked rug is all ruined from my snarfing but the lady didn't cut Peg's toenails so I think she ruined mommy's new rug so watch out for Bertie's toenails. Love Fwederick

That may be the cutest dog I've ever seen. I'm liking Winston for a moniker. Sir Winston Moore, Duke of Taylorshire. I gave blood recently, Annabelle. Maybe you got a half-pint or so of it. Jenny & the boys & I are thinking about you and praying for you. We love you guys!

Cute! Cute! Cute! -- We don't care what your name is -- we already know we would like to meet you. We are almost 3 years old and weigh about what you weigh right now. We don't mind that you are younger. My name is Gracie and I am all white and my sister Sophie is black with bits of white. You are a cutie!!!!! We sure would like to meet you. Give Ann and Randy a big lick for us. Sophie & Gracie

Adorable!! How about Charles or in honor of my fave PBS series, "Pride and Prejudice", Mr. Darcy? Colin Firth is soooooo handsome in that movie. What about Colin? Just a thought, and a lovely one at that! Always in our prayers, Wendy
