Jenna Barron is her name and she is one of Meredith's bestest friends in the whole world. Jenna has organized a fundraiser which takes place tomorrow night where she attends college.

Jenna is graduating from Middle Tennessee State University and in the midst of finals and graduation and everything else college students deal with, she is heading up a "Rock for the Cure" fundraiser May 2nd (tomorrow night) in Murfreesboro, TN. This isn't the only fundraiser Jenna has been involved with to raise money to help families dealing with cancer. She's a young woman with a huge heart and a desire to help others and we love her a lot. The fundraiser features several local bands who will donate their proceeds to help offset the mounting costs of battling this cancer.

Jenna, our heartfelt thanks and prayers are with you and all those involved with the fundraiser. Our sincere appreciation goes to the bands who are willing to "rock for a cure!" My greatest desire is that pancreatic cancer will start to get a little attention.
