Back in the Ville
I'm a year older since I last blogged. God is good! But sorry for keeping all of you hanging about my trip. It just took me a while to get motivated to upload some pictures.
I spent two weeks touring Greece, Egypt and Turkey with my parents and my sister. What a blessing to be able to see the ancient world. I saw things I never thought I would in person. Like this, for instance.

Perhaps the most beautiful stop on our tour was the island of Santorini in Greece. We arrived on a Sunday morning and my sister and I were in a hurry to find a church. It seemed the quickest way up the seaside cliff where the village is located was via donkey.

We spent a wonderful morning in worship and the rest of the day exploring the narrow labyrinth of streets in the village. What a magical place! They say the lost city of Atlantis may have been located on Santorini. That's because most of the island was destroyed by an earthquake which also wiped out the Minoans.

My most memorable moments may have been spent in Turkey where my sister and I explored ancient Ephesus and also visited the home where Mary died while in the care of John. We spent some time in prayer and wonder in the small house where John probably wrote his Gospel and epistles. Turkey is beautiful and ancient Ephesus is so well preserved. It also contains the Roman theatre where the Apostle Paul preached. It's amazing to be standing on Holy Ground!

I then took the opportunity leave a prayer request in a wall outside the home. My sister and I were both very moved.

We can't thank our parents enough for allowing us to have this opportunity of a lifetime. We'll never forget it!
I been somewhat following your journey and think of you often. However, when you wrote of Santorini (which is on my Dreamboard!) and other places in the Holy Land, I crumbled. This is also my deisre before I leave this earth - to go to the area you visited. I would love to hear more about this trip if you have time. It's just odd that just the other day in my morning workship I was speaking to the Lord about such a trip and YOU came to mind. At the time I didn't know you went! Many Blessings Ann, Cheeba
Wow! What an amazing trip. I'm glad you and your family had the blessing of sharing those
beautiful sights together. Might I add; you look fabulous as always!
Love ya! Deb Haire
I too am so glad you were able to go on you trip with your parents and sister. What an amazing feeling to actually stand in the same home as John and Mary and to travel in the same towns as Jesus. WOW! I feel like this is just one more miracle in your life Ann - that you actually have been able to travel and enjoy yourself. I'm so proud of you that you didn't let fear of leaving the US stop you from enjoying this experience. We missed you though on Chrysalis 29.
Much love and many blessings to you, Randy and the kids this Thanksgiving.
May GOD BLESS AND KEEP YOUR FAMILY AND YOU!!
what a wonderful trip to bring in the holiday season.....! May God's blessings fill you with his joy......
