It's Randy. 10:15 AM EST Thursday. I'm packing up and will head back to Evansville shortly after being with Ann since Saturday.
Andrew has been holding down the fort at home. Cathy Fulkerson got in last night. She'll stay with Ann tonight and bring her home for the weekend tomorrow. I want to take a second to thank everyone who has provided care for Ann up here. Cathy is just the latest. Anna Jo Wyman, Sue Moore, my parents Bob and Sue Moore (yeah another Sue Moore -- and there's another Ann Moore -- It's all so confusing!), and Ann's Sister, Kathy, have also pulled duty. Next week, John Shrode will bring Ginny up for part of the week. Scott Veazey and George Purnell came up for visits. And several friends who live in Indianapolis have stopped by. I thank God for our friends and family. I am humbled by their unselfishness. I'm not going to start naming the dozens -- possibly hundreds -- of you who have supported us in other ways. I would leave someone out if I tried to do that. You know who you are. You know what you've done. Ann and I pray blessings on each one of you. I'll close by saying Ann is doing well. No doubt she is "urpy" and weak. And she has lost a lot of weight, although she keeps telling me that she is still not down to her weight on our wedding day. But she remains fairly active. We went to the zoo yesterday and we saw the Simpson's movie Tuesday. "spider pig, spider pig..."
Hope all is well with you. Godspeed in your treatments Ann!
