I'm in Indianapolis

I'm in Indianapolis...but it took some work to get here!

I attended Bluegrass United Methodist Church this morning to hear my dear sister in Christ, Sue Kincaid teach...because she says she doesn't preach. Sue is filled with grace and that certainly was evident in her teaching this morning. Bluegrass is in good hands while the lead pastor is away!

After worship, I raced around trying to pack for my five week stay here in Indianapolis. What movies do I bring along? Exactly how many books can I stuff into this suitcase? I should grab those peaches or they'll get too ripe and what if they don't get eaten while I'm gone...well that would just be a shame. Will the place I'm staying have towels and toilet paper?

Speaking of place. I am staying at Park Place in Indianapolis. It is just across the White River from the hospital. Best of all, my apartment is being paid for by the American Cancer Society! So when you give to them, please know that your money is being put to good use to help people like me in so many ways!! God bless you American Cancer Society!

I can't tell you how much I enjoy reading the guest book. I am hearing from so many people I love! Some of the entries are from old friends, former co-workers, high school friends, relatives, people I've never met...and then there are my sister's (my seestar's) dogs. You guys really lift my spirits!!

I should tell you what else we did before I moved here to Indy. For the last few Saturdays..we've been going to the Vanderburgh County Humane Society to pet the kitties. Talk about an uplifting experience! There is nothing better than a cute purring kitty making dough balls on your lap. Anyway...my oldest from Chicago (Erin) fell in love with Miles. This cat is great. He's an 18 pound orange fluffy cat with a huge head and tiger paws. All he wants to do is sit on laps and purr. He'll be moving to Chicago at some point...right now he's living with the rest of the Moores while Doogie (see the "Catching Flies blog) tries to cope.

I have a big day tomorrow, so I'd better unpack and settle in.

Alright! We have toilet paper and towels!

Much Agape, Ann

Hey Ann, I'm basically computer illiterate and the fact that you actually receive this will be a miracle, but I wanted to let you know
that Ruth Yeager and I would love to come visit you while you are in Indy. When I asked you when I saw you last, you said you
would be all by yourself---so we would love to come and see you--or do whatever we can to help you(clean toilets, laundry,
grocery shop, whatever!!) Fri. Aug. 3rd works for us. Please let me know what ever is best for you. I love you and pray for you,
Randy and the kids daily. Jesus truely knows who Ann Moore is by all the prayers He gets on your behalf. Hope to see you soon!
